I was skeptical about ditching the corded battery pack, but this Wisdom lamp is brilliant. It balances well on the helmet, and the battery easily lasts a 12-hour underground shift with juice to spare. Plus, knowing it's fully IECEx approved makes it a no-brainer for our gassy pits.
Great beam distance for a cordless unit. Being ATEX certified gives us peace of mind when we are deep in the headings.
Finally, a cordless option that actually ticks all the boxes for Zone 1 compliance. Our safety officer is happy and the crew prefers them over the heavy cable packs.
